Iron on is usually the preferred application method for these patches and the size is generally 3 1/2" inches or larger, depending on the intricacy of the design and the amount of text on the patch. Military patches may have more complicated shapes that may or may not work with a merrowed border. Often a heat cut border is used which seals the threads with heat to prevent fraying. This also produces a long wearing patch. These patches vary in size according to placement on the uniform, amount of detail and text in the patch. If you have any guidelines to pass on to our designers, they'll be sure to follow them. Again, revisions are free. Consider whether the patch is to remain permanently on the uniform or removed when laundered. If the patch is going to be removed, Velcro is the way to go. These are also usually 100% embroidered.
